Toothless!
The Real "Shock and Awe"

I had my front tooth knocked out back in '02, and no thanks to Alice, she took the only photo that exists of me without my tooth.

For this and many other "shocking" photos, feel free to visit my online photo album.

"Time to Say Goodbye"

Well, it only makes sense that if this missions trip started out with a photo on the beach, it would only be fitting to end with a photo on the beach. =)

The huge day of presentations and prayers from all 26 clients went really well yesterday. It was really cool to see how much God has done for so many people, families, and companies over just the past couple of weeks.

But then afterwards, on Friday night, I finally was able to get a group to go bowling (I've been trying to get people to go the entire trip) about 20 people ended up going, including the entire Campbell family as well as my client and his wife. It was really funny to do something totally American while being in South Africa (btw, despite popular beliefs, the ball does not spin the other way when youre in the southern hemisphere). But not only that, the bowling alley also had a DDR machine, so I was able to get a couple of dances in against Philip (who, incidentally, is a much better DDR player).

So, kind of as a joke and I guess kind of seriously, Jeremy and I have been singing Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightmans Time to Say Goodbye a lot as of late (which, incidentally, I first heard while watching the Dancing Fountains at the Bellagio), mostly as the entire US Equip team has been saying our goodbyes to our clients, our South African teammates, and other people here.

Which brings up one of the biggest non-spiritual surprise of the trip, which is that Im really gonna miss everyone here. Obviously, Ill be able to meet up with the Bay Area-based consultants off and on, but it wont be the same as having us all here and moreover, there of course is all the South African people and the Virginia- and Settle-based consultants as well.

It has been such a blessing to have served with so many great and dynamic people they have all truly helped me as I continue to journey to draw nearer to God, and I thank God for each one of them. You will all be missed so very much.

Praises: For the wonderful work and marketplace miracles that God has been able to perform throughout this entire trip!

Requests: Now with this out of the way, the real work is about to begin... both for our clients, our team, and myself. Pray that we will be able to continue to depend on God for us to follow through with the many next steps and growth areas that we have committed to do to God. And of course, also pray for safe travels as we begin to make our trek back to the States.
